Yugo Nakamura

Yugo NakamuraBorn in Nara, Japan, Yugo Nakamura is a Japanese web designer, creative director and engineer. He went the University of Tokyo and studied architecture, engineering and landscape design. As a web designer he tried to use ideas from the natural world to create usable online interactions with mathematical problems, and not only to make our designs better but to make the environment around us better.
Throughout his career Nakamura has won many awards and written quite a few books. He currently lives in Shinagawa, Tokyo.
In most of his well-known designs he doesn’t use much colour, black and white are most common which gives his work the feel of good quality. I personally think his work has quite a Swiss Style feel to it, simple geometric shapes and contrastingly flat colour.
