Pollock has since worked for many and diverse clients, from the Rolling Stones to the Sunday Times. He claims he he is happy to work for anyone. At one time in his career he was instructed to design some stamps with two characters from, author, Thomas Hardy's novels, but they were vetoed unsuitable by the Queen.
I find his work is quite in forceful and assertive but certainly not what you would call pretty. The people he draws appear to have a caricature style, with features and colour very extravagant giving them an almost grotesque effect. The subjects and content of some of his illustrations, I find, are both disturbing and inappropriate. Pollock's illustrative style is unique and individual, his skill and wit can be seen through his works.
